Basically the advantages of the Muffler and Midpipe would allow:
- linear acceleration from 3k rpm right up to 7k rpm.
- less restriction and effort from mid rev onwards.
- minimum loss of power at the low-end due to unique CTR muffler flap design.
This is how a CTR Midpipe looks like compared to a normal FD2 :
You will notice that the piping of the CTR is thicker and with the absense of a midbox compared to a FD2.
What about the CTR Muffler - why is it so special ?
