Honda Civic always be my dream car and this year my dream come true...
going to order 1 after this weekend test drive....

preferred 1.8 over 2.0 in order to save some $$$ for so modification to be unique...
since too many Civic on the road...hahaha

after test drive 2.0 and saw the 1.8 in showroom.....
ya....decided to go for 2.0 cause its really worth it....

ok....next thing to decide....how to protect my precious Civic

is the Immobilizer good enough?
or should i upgrade to Captor or Cobra Connex?
or just buy a good steering lock ..... hahahhahaaa

the stock immobilizer is good enough

but if you leave ur car for service at service centre too long, please take note whether they use any computer to add in a key to ur car

if u saw something suspicious, come to me and i will check your keys whether they add additional keys to ur ECU

get a brake lock as well

well.. u can't really define "good enough"... all u can do is slow them down or even prevent them from stealing ur car in the 1st place... u can install brake lock its pretty useful...

if u want something much more secure take a look at Constuct here http://www.tcat.com.my/construct.html/ .. it is much much much harder to remove compared to brake lock.. if u want even more security can consider Cobra Connex.. you can install them at ur SC.. and it won't void ur warranty...

anyway i will advise u locking/arming ur security gadgets even when ur car is parked inside your house compound.. my car was stolen from my house compound...

one more thing to take note is the car boot... recently there are lots of cases where the boot keyhole is messed with to try to open ur boot... if u want to prevent that u can ask SC to use the number plate to cover the keyhole...
